DBH delays citation of NZS3603 to the building code

The proposal to Amend B1/VM1 of the building code to cite amendment 4 to NZS3603 has been delayed. The public comment paper proposed citation on 1 October 2005 with a 2 month transition period to 1 December 2005. 1 October has passed and no citation took place. Although there has been no official word from the Department of Building and Housing, we are of the understanding that any citation is not likely to occur until next year. Details of the citation date and transitional period are unknown at this stage. We will post any updates on this web site.
